The contract detail page shows everything DealView knows about a contract. View AI analysis, manage the contract, and take actions.
Accessing Contract Details
From the contracts list:
- Click any contract row
- Or use the menu and select View
- The detail page opens with full information
Page Layout
The contract detail page includes:
- Header - Title, type, status badges
- Actions Bar - Quick action buttons
- Tab Navigation - Different views of contract data
- Content Area - Tab-specific content
Header Information
The header displays:

| Title | Contract name |
| Type Badge | Contract type (NDA, MSA, etc.) |
| Status Badge | Lifecycle status (Active, Expiring, etc.) |
| Risk Badge | Risk level indicator |
| Counterparty | Other party name |
Action Buttons
Quick actions in the header:
- Download - Get original file
- Export - Export as PDF or DOCX
- Send for Signature - E-sign integration
- Edit - Modify metadata
- Delete - Remove contract
Deleting a contract is permanent. Consider archiving instead if you may need it later.

Confidence Indicators
Each extracted item shows confidence:

Editing Extracted Data
Correct AI mistakes:
- Click the edit icon on any field
- Modify the value
- Save changes
- Your corrections are preserved
Risk Assessment
The risk section shows:
- Overall risk score (0-100)
- Risk level (Low, Medium, High, Critical)
- Individual risk factors
- Mitigation suggestions
Click any risk factor to see the specific contract language that triggered the flag.
Document Preview
View the original document:
- Click Preview or the document icon
- PDF viewer opens
- Scroll through pages
- Click to close
Refreshing Analysis
Re-run AI analysis:
- Click Reanalyze in the actions menu
- Confirm the action
- New analysis queued
- Results update when complete
